On 4 May 2021 Terry Leatherland and Ruzhu Chen of IBM delivered a session explaining how to get the best performance from a range of Life Sciences packages.

IBM Power Systems behave differently to traditional x86 HPC clusters. In this session Terry Leatherhead, Enterprise and AI Systems Architect and Ruzhu Chen, Senior Technical Solution Architect for HPC and AI, offered an overview of a number of Life Sciences packages. They also discussed Conda distribution channels and how to optimise aspects of codes for Life Sciences workloads.
