NVIDIA's Graduate Fellowship is now in its 20th year. The programme seeks innovative doctoral students and offers financial support, grants of up to $50,000, as well as access to mentors and technical support to enable them to focus on some of the world's biggest challenges.

Potential candidates should be investigating innovative ways to use GPUs, ideally in the following fields:

  • Accelerated computing
  • AI
  • Machine learning
  • Autonomous vehicles
  • Robotics
  • AI for healthcare
  • HPC
  • Other related fields

Candidates need to be studying computer science, computer engineering, system architecture, electrical engineering or a related area.

The NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program for the 2021-2022 academic year is open to applicants worldwide. The deadline for submitting applications is 11 September 11. An internship at NVIDIA preceding the fellowship year is mandatory — eligible candidates should be available for the internship in summer 2021.
