Here, you can find several forms for submitting a news item or post-event survey, planning an event, filling in your annual Bede report, or providing information for a case study.


Event Planning

If you are a member of an N8 institution, you are welcome to suggest an event (online or in-person) that you would like to be supported by the N8 CIR. Use this form to provide this information. We will contact you to discuss whether your proposal is something we feel we can support.

Please appreciate that it is best if you provide at least two months' notice when you complete this form. This means we have time to advertise it fully, allow for bursary applications, and ensure good attendee numbers.

Newsletter Item

Please provide information for articles to be added to our news page and newsletter. These can be advertisements for an upcoming event you think will be of interest to the N8 CIR community, or one that we are funding. You could also provide a report on a recent event you attended. If possible, please include images to accompany the information.


Post Event Questionnaire

Please provide information on articles suitable for our newsletter. If possible, please include images to accompany the information.


Bede User Report

This is an annual survey of Bede users to share the progress of your research and any publications resulting from it.


Research Data Steward Case Study

Fill in information for your case study, including:

  • A short biography
  • Links to personal webpage and published work (if applicable)
  • Name of research project and a description
  • How the project supports good research and DMP practice
  • Plans resulting from this work
  • A profile picture and supporting images (if you would like to)


Research Technical Professional Case Study

Fill in information for your case study, including:
