Join the N8 CIR Slack Workspace

We have created a Slack workspace where those working or interested in computationally intensive research can interact with colleagues from across the N8 to find new collaboration partners, discuss best practices, ask questions to the community, share upcoming events or suggest those you'd like the N8 CIR to provide.

When you join the Slack Workspace you will automatically be added to the general, events and suggested events channels. Events may be of interest to more than your community so please add and look out for notifications of these in that channel. The suggested events channel is a place for you to ask for events that you'd like to see provided by the N8 CIR. If you think an event suggestion is a good idea, please respond with a thumbs up so we can gauge the amount of interest.

Various channels are currently provided that you can choose to join, your interests may intersect more than one of these so please add yourself to as many as you'd like. We are hoping that this workspace will reduce barriers to communication across N8 institutions and be used as a mechanism for you to share information and broaden your network.

Below is a list of the channels currently in the Workspace. Please contact us if you have ideas for others.
