N8 CIR has once again joined with Open Life Sciences to offer a two-hour workshop exploring how we can increase awareness around visual impairment and ways to increase accessibility inclusion.

Improving our tools, processes, and software which we develop for accessibility benefits not only individuals with a disability but can be beneficial to more people in our research community. Additionally, we want to enrich our research community by enabling more people, and a more diverse range of people, to be part of it.

In this workshop we will have three accessibility experts with lived experience of visual impairment who will share their experience and advice with us.

Speakers will include:

• Chris Owen (@blind_backpack)

After the talks, a panel discussion will invite all participants to ask questions. Of course, you will have the opportunity to ask any new questions coming up during the event.
