In 2021, N8 CIR became officially a Women in High Performance Computing (WHPC) chapter.

We aim to create a community within N8 CIR that is inclusive and welcoming to people from all backgrounds. We want to create a focus on gender balance which will help to build diversity and inclusivity. We also want to improve the accessibility of our events and activities.

In this 1h webinar we will introduce N8 CIR and our WHPC chapter, explain our goals and key objectives, and present some of our activities and initiatives since the foundation of our chapter. We will also talk about how we are placed in the national and international WHPC community, and how anyone who shares (or could extend) our goals can get involved.

This webinar is open to anyone who is interested in the topic.
