We are now accepting applications for the week-long Digital Research Infrastructure Retreat (DRI Retreat), which will take place from 13-17 January at the Manchester Conference Centre at the Pendulum Hotel. This panel-based event is been run in partnership with and funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). As in previous years, tickets to this event are free, with accommodation, breakfast and lunch provided. We will also be hosting a conference dinner at the Midland Hotel on Tuesday 14 January.
What To Expect
The DRI Retreat is a week of panels and talks from the foremost experts on digital research infrastructure across the UK. We expect to welcome more than 40 panellists over the week, and over 100 attendees. Like previous years, all panels are hybrid so you may attend the event in-person, online, or select days to suit your schedule.
A full list of panels is available here.
We are still accepting expressions of interest to be a panellist in our 2025 retreat. Anyone is welcome, particularly early career researchers and those who are underrepresented in their field. Our Panellist selection criteria is available on our website.
Check out the panels and apply to be a panellist.
Who's Invited
This event will particularly suit Research Infrastructure Engineers (RIEs), Research Software Engineers (RSEs), Data Management Professionals, and Researchers, though we welcome anyone who feels they would benefit professionally to apply. We particularly encourage people who are early in their career or who have not previously attended a DRI Retreat to apply.
To ensure a balance of career stages, professions, and gender equality, admission to the retreat will be on an application basis
