Due to the success of the 2022 Digital Research Infrastructure Retreat, the N8 Centre of Excellence in Computationally Intensive Research (N8 CIR) is again hosting an event to support the development of soft skills amongst the research support community.

This five-day event will help technology specialists, such as research software engineers, research infrastructure engineers, and research data managers, develop additional professional skills to support researchers and accelerate discovery. With sessions entirely based around panel discussions there will be plenty of time for questions during the sessions. Time is set aside at the end of each day to allow for small group discussions with panellists and networking.

Taking place in person at the Pendulum Hotel, Manchester, sessions will give participants the time and space to engage fully with colleagues across a variety of research domains. Accommodation, breakfast and lunch are included for delegates attending in person.  An option to attend online is available but in person attendance is encouraged.
