DRI Retreat 2022

We hosted a five-day retreat comprising panel discussions and group sessions for technology specialists to develop soft skills and network with peers. This national event was open to software engineers, infrastructure engineers, and data managers at any stage of their careers and encouraged those new to these fields to attend.

The N8 Centre of Excellence in Computationally Intensive Research (N8CIR) hosted a digital infrastructure retreat.

This five-day event was developed to help technology specialists, such as research software and research infrastructure engineers, develop additional professional skills to support researchers and accelerate discovery.

It was a hybrid event taking place online and in person at the University of Manchester. The sessions gave participants the time and space to engage fully with colleagues from various research domains.

Generous funding from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council allowed the event to be open to specialists from across the United Kingdom.
