The aim of N8 CIR is to create a centre of excellence in CIR methods across the N8 universities. This centre will provide skills, training and facilities to underpin the strategic research objectives of the N8 universities.

We are working with two communities at present – Digital Humanities and Digital Health and we’ve been working with trainers and researchers in these fields to identify CIR skills gaps and requirements. We now want to reach out to the wider community to introduce our centre, report back on our findings and activities and to gather further requirements to feed into our future plans.

To do this we are holding a series of events across N8 to which all researchers and PGRs are invited.
