The final RDM event of the academic year will feature Sarah Jones, EOSC Engagement Manager at GÉANT, speaking about The Future of FAIR.

Sarah's presentation will be followed by an online networking session where participants will discuss some of the FAIR principles before reporting back with any thoughts and ideas they have had.

FAIR and the future – what it means for you
This talk will introduce the FAIR principles, comment on their adoption by funders and organisations worldwide, and offer some reflections on where things should go next. Concerns to be addressed include the governance of the FAIR principles, how they apply to different research communities and their importance within EOSC. The relevance of FAIR for the library community and how they can support implementation of the principles through data management and open science services will also be covered.
