Since becoming a chapter of the Women in HPC organisation, staff across N8 CIR have had a renewed focus on equality, diversity and inclusion.
This has led to the creation of a new diversity checklist for those looking to recruit new staff and increase diversity within their teams.
The checklist includes some simple actions that can be undertaken to help ensure that you are reaching the widest pool of talent possible when bringing in new team members.
The advice extends across the recruitment process and includes tips for writing a more appealing advert, creating the right atmosphere for an interview, and making sure that providing constructive feedback is not an afterthought.
