Mapping the Research Landscapes of N8 CIR

We have launched surveys for our Digital Health and Digital Humanities themes to identify the people and the areas of active research to enable N8 CIR to better support research

To make sure our next phase of training and events are as relevant and helpful to our community as possible, this summer we are carrying out two surveys in Digital Health and Digital Humanities across the N8 universities. The aim of the survey is to identify the people and the areas of active research to enable N8 CIR to better support scholarship, through our events, networks and funding support.

These surveys will allow us to prepare tailored research and sand-pit events that reflect and respond to the research areas identified in the survey. These events will place N8 researchers in an excellent position to quickly respond to funding calls and to enhance cross-institutional research across N8.

Have your say by responding to the following surveys - it should take less than 10 minutes and all questions are optional.

N8 CIR provides a support and training network for intra- and inter-institutional research across the N8 universities (Durham, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and York) in our research themes of Digital Health, Digital Humanities, and Machine Learning. Our aim is to bring researchers together to address disciplinary challenges, discuss potential funding opportunities, and to meet potential collaborators from across the N8 institutions.
